Just because an artist and/or band chooses to alter (change) their style of music doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re selling out, it actually means that they’re developing ”musically” as it be, though it may be hard to completely understand and process into ones mind (who hasn’t had a musical career), an artist cant go on for years to come playing the same type of music, in one way or another they will all eventually begin develop and branch out their musical style, and you just can’t stop that.
Why have a high notoriety/popularity in school? It completely passes me. A common fact is, when you’re a popular kid and everyone knows who you are, only a minority of ”everyone” will give a fuck when you’re troubled in life. Whereas if you have a minimum notoriety and you got problems, almost everyone of your friends/acquaintances will be there for you.
Glassjaw’s earlier songs were alright, but they dont come close to the likes of the ”Colouring Book (EP)”.
